Why should I go for off grid electrics Ayrshire?
If you need a reliable source of power all year round, especially during extreme weather like storms and snow fall, off grid electrics is a suitable solution. Many of our clients in Ayrshire have a single dwelling miles away from others or are rural smallholdings with outbuildings away from the main base. Connecting to the grid can be complicated and expensive but with off grid electrics there is no reliance on energy from the grid, you gain total energy independence. We worked with the owner of a smallholding in rural Maybole as they had a number of agricultural outbuildings and wanted a reliable, uninterrupted supply of energy. The area was prone to bad weather which caused power loss at times so we suggested solar panel systems with battery storage. This meant that any excess energy generated by the panels during the day could be stored for later use. For many rural and farming properties, off grid electrics is the only practical solution to achieving reliable energy for day to day operations.
Do I need planning permission for off grid electrics Ayrshire?
As long as certain conditions are met during solar panel installation, planning permission is not required. For example, during solar panel and battery storage installation at the smallholding in Maybole, Ayrshire, we made sure the solar panels did not protrude more than 200mm from the roof. Additionally, we did our checks to make sure the buildings were not in conservation areas or listed buildings as this would have required approval from the local authority. As well as planning and installation, NHM Electrical Services are also available for maintenance options should you need.
